Indianapolis

Welcome to Indy as we call it, the capital of Indiana and the 14th largest city in the United States.   Monument Circle is the center of town and all streets radiate from this core.  Indianapolis features a large convention center with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance of the downtown center.

The world’s largest single sporting event takes place here every year in May as drivers compete in the Indy 500 race.  The Brickyard 400 NASCAR race is in July and the Red Bull Indianapolis GP motorcycle race is held in August.   www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com

Although there are no casinos in Indianapolis, the Super 8 in Greenfield is situated directly between the state’s two horse racing/casino facilities.  North of the hotel in the city of Anderson is Hoosier Park Racing and Casino and about equal distance to the south is Indiana Live Casino and Indiana Downs Racing.

We are proud of our Indianapolis Colts and you would not believe the size of our new Lucas Oil Stadium.  The NFL awarded the Super Bowl to Indianapolis in 2012.  The Indiana Pacers play here in one of the NBA’s best and newest arenas, Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
